Working Doodles

Welcome to our service and working doodle page. We test all of our puppies but we also test for one from each litter to identify the most qualified working doodles for therapist offices, rehab centers, schools and one on one therapy/service dogs.  Service dogs are able to be trained to do specific behaviors for their handler.

We have GorgeousDoodles enjoying working and earning “good citizen awards” as the first step toward being certified with new families. Our GorgeousDoodles come from the original Australian lines which were bred originally to be the ideal service and therapy doodle temperament and also hypo-allergenic to work in all environments with all people.

How do we select the service and emotional support qualified dogs? When the litter is 7 weeks of age we start a daily evaluation process on each puppy using proven evaluation methods used by our professional trainers we’ve worked with over the years.

These methods are used to test each puppy for their individual natural tendencies to determine each puppies strong suits and score them for character and responsiveness for being active, passive or neutral for specific reactions.  Making the correct allocations is extremely important and we take this responsibility very serious. Our clients put their trust in us to make this important decision and so we always will base it on careful and proven techniques.

Our evaluation involves many trust holds, startle reflex reaction scoring, early obedience observations for head-start training skills in addition to the early service puppy selection scoring system.
